An Invitation...
Just as Jesus “went out to a mountainside to pray” (Luke 6:12) and “withdrew again to a mountain by himself” (John 6:15), so we all need time away to “catch up with ourselves,” focus on God, pray, meditate, and discern God’s direction for our lives. To fulfill this need, we need to find a place away from the pressing routines of life and the barrage of phone, people and media.
Duneview House provides such a place - quiet bedrooms, cozy sitting areas, beautiful lake views and spectacular sunsets painted by the Master. A piano awaits your arrival for praise and worship. And the fire pit is a great place to unwind and have sing-alongs as the evening fades.
Duneview is an ideal place to bring your men, women, couples, singles group or church leadership for a weekend, or week long get-away. Our house has five bedrooms and two full baths. Each bedroom has a queen bed or two single beds. The house is an ideal place for 10 - 12 people.
Duneview is just 1.5 hours north of the Grand Rapids area and is located just north of Ludington, on the shores of 5,000 acre Hamlin Lake. Ludington offers many restaurants, charming shopping and coffee & ice cream shops. You can also explore the Ludington State Park, with its many hiking trails, dunes, bike trails and breathtaking fall colors.
Come spend a week or weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on our Creator and growing closer to your friends and family.
